You’ve got your fishing trip booked… now what?
If you’re spending time in the Rustico area, there’s plenty to see, eat, and explore just minutes from the wharf. Whether you’ve got an hour to spare or a full day to fill, here are some of our favourite ways to make the most of it.
🎣 Soak in the Harbour
Before or after your trip, slow things down and take it all in:
- Walk along the North Rustico harbour with a Frothy Coffee
- Watch the fishing boats head out or return with their catch
- Let the kids explore the docks (future fishermen in the making)
- Grab an ice cream at Cricker’s Creamery and enjoy the views
There’s no rush here, sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones.
🍽️ Where to Eat
A good meal is never far away in Rustico. A few local favourites:
- On The Dock Eatery – laid-back, right on the water, and perfect after a trip
- Captain’s Cove Cafe – well known for fresh seafood and amazing views
- By the Bay Family Restaurant – a staple for locals
🏖️ Get Outside
If you’ve got more time, Rustico is surrounded by some of PEI’s best outdoor spots:
- North Rustico Beach – close, easy, and perfect for a walk or quick dip
- Prince Edward Island National Park – trails, dunes, and incredible coastal views
- Cavendish Beach – iconic red cliffs and wide sandy beaches
Bring a towel, take your time, and lean into the slower pace.
